My Sunday Ritual featuring Gua Sha Facial Massage
Today, as I have more time for a self-care ritual, I decided to treat my skin to a multi-masking session followed by a wonderful gua sha facial massage! And while it feels just as lovely as it sounds, it has numerous benefits that go beyond relaxation and lessened tension!
Gua Sha Benefits:
Firms up facial muscles
Smoothens the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines
Improves dark circles and bags ( under & around eye area )
Helps achieve youthful and radiant complexion
Helps clear up acne, rosacea, and discoloration (due to increased circulation)
I would absolutely recommend investing time in researching the correct technique as there are quite a few secrets to it! ( I like this & this video) I’ve been using a Rose Quartz Gua Sha tool for quite some time now and I find it to be excellent for de-puffing and achieving a more lifted and toned complexion!
Step 1 Nourish & Brighten
Osea White Algae Mask | Apply tp forehead, chin, nose & don’t forget the neck!
Josh Rosebrook Advanced Hydration Mask | Cheeks & around the nose - basically on area where your skin sensitive/reactive!
Step 2 Lock in Hydration
Osea Hyaluronic Sea Serum | Apply and pat it in all over your face & neck!
Step 3 Gua Sha
Kahina Giving Beauty Prickly Pear Seed Oil | Apply all over and follow with facial massage using the Rose Quartz Gua Sha tool
Step 4 Zen
Feel relaxed and happy 🤗
P.S. If you’re going to follow these routing or your version of this routine, I would absolutely recommend putting some relaxation/meditation music on & maybe light a candle or an incense! Are you following any self-care rituals today? Let me know!
Till next time,
