The Concept:

When I was planning out what makeup to pack for my 2-week vacation, I decided to stay on the minimal side of things and only bring one of each type of product (no multiple lipsticks, eyeshadows, highlighter etc.) I wanted to focus on products that I love the most and know will perform well in the weather conditions I will be traveling to. I also wanted to make sure I would be able to create a variety of summer makeup looks (both day and night) as I brought a lot of fun summer dresses with me!

The Base:

For this trip, my biggest investment space-wise has been for the face products. The reasons for that are:

1. I have sensitive skin that always has a hard time whenever there is a climate change

2. I planned on visiting a dermatologist to do a routine cleaning which always leaves the skin a bit red for a few days afterwards

In this way, for the face makeup I ended up packing a foundation (even out the skin-tone), a corrector (correct the rosacea and possible post-treatment redness), a concealer (under the eye area and possible breakouts), setting powder (set the concealer and my T-zone) +a bronzer (warming up the complexion), a blush (adding a healthy flush) and a highlighter (gimme that summer glow!)

The Eyes:

As I packed quite a bit of face products while I generally tried to keep it simple, for the eyes I only brought an eyeshadow palette, a mascara + eyelash curlers and an eyeliner! Those simple products will allow me to create a variety of looks - from day "no-makeup makeup" to nighttime "glam"! I also brought my favorite brow product that I knew performs super well in hot conditions the Nourish and Define Brow Pomade 'Ashy Daybreak' Plume Science (20% OFF with code CONSCIOUSBEE20)

Full list of Eye Products to create some summer look magic like my current fave Rose Quartz MOTD:

Aether Beauty Rose Quartz Crystal Gemstone Palette (read full review HERE)

100% Pure Maracuja Mascara 'Dark Chocolate'  (why it's my fave HERE)

Creamy Long Lasting Liner in Blackest 100% Pure

Plume Science Brow Pomade “Ashy Daybreak”  20% OFF with code CONSCIOUSBEE20

The Lips:

This category actually makes me giggle because I only brought one product! (apart from a lip balm) I am always very picky with lip products when it's hot outside and so I decided to only bring the Clove & Hallow Lip Glaze in Angelic. It's formulated with natural oils and is very moisturizing and comfortable to wear. Easy to apply and remove on the go and so SO pretty!

Final Thoughts:

As I'm finishing this post a few days into my vacation, I have to say I'm extremely happy with the amount of makeup I brought as well as with the products I selected. Everything worked well together and performed perfectly well in heat, plus I was able to create so many different looks! (even a matte one for a passport photo haha)
