Petit Vour June Box Review

Petit Vour June Box Review

Month of June came by and left in what feels like few short days! And even though soon we will have July Petit Vour boxes in our mailboxes, I wanted to go back to the June box to give you a full review of every product featured! As always I will touch on cost and overall value of the box as well!

June Petit Vour Box Review

The June Petit Vour Box included:

Clove and Hallow Lip Glaze “Angelic” ($15)

Clove + Hallow’s Lip Glazes are their version of lip glosses, minus the goopiness and stickiness! I've been enjoying applying one coat of this product and in this way it gives a beautiful sheer color and glossiness without being uncomfortable or sticky. Formulated with jojoba oil, argan oil & shea butter, the Lip Glaze also help to smooth and moisturize the lips. In my box, I've received the color Angelic and I think it's a perfect everyday nude pink! Even though, I am generally not a lip gloss fan - I would consider buying more of these!

Gold Faden MD Facial Detox Mask ($20)

This purifying mask was designed to draw out pore clogging debris using zinc oxide, sulfur, salicylic acid, bentonite clay and fruit and plant extracts.  Even though the formula is full detoxifying ingredients including clay, I found that it didn't feel drying or irritating on the skin. Quite on the contrary, it left my skin feeling soft and balanced afterwards. I've been using this mainly on my nose and chin and so far am happy with the results! As this is a deluxe sample and I still have more product left, I will  continue to use this product once a week and will update you on how it performs long-term!

Vertmont Perfumery Perfumery “Cyrena” ($5)

This is one of the most unique perfumes I've ever come across. At first it's floral but sophisticated (gardenia notes) and then it softens down with cacao and labdanum amber notes. It's truly beautiful! I am considering purchasing a full size ($35) of this perfume and love that the bottle is only 10ml which means I can certainly bring it with me on the go!

Mun skincare Anarose Hydrating Rose Toner ($7)

Toners are an essential step to balance the skin’s pH after cleansing. This one specifically is formulated with Bulgarian rosewater that soothes the skin while Hyaluronic acid firms and provides long-lasting hydration. I love seeing more and more companies include vegan Hyaluronic acid in their toners as I think it's such an easy and fun way to add some hydration to the skin. Even though the sample size was a bit small for testing out a toner - I loved every time I got to use it. It felt very soothing and refreshing on the skin and I would totally give a full size a try!

Juice Beauty Green Apple Cleansing Bar ($3)

This little guy smells SO good! I generally don't like using soap bars on my face and have been mainly using this product for my hands. However, I did use it a number of times as face wash during our recent move. It was perfect for freshening up in between boxing/unboxing loading/unloading in the Texas heat lol! Most soap bars do have a bad rep because some of them are really quite drying. This cleansing bar however, is formulated with extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, and a blend of apple, lemon and aloe juices and with that, I personally didn't experience any dryness. And even though I do prefer my gentle creamy face cleansers, I will gladly continue to use this product as hand/body wash.

Overall Thoughts

As always, Petit Vour Box makes me smile when it shows up in my mailbox! I really enjoyed this box and am very pleased with the total value of the box which is $50! I was also very happy that Petit Vour has a personalization feature (usually for the "star" product) & that I was able to choose the shade for Clove and Hallow Lip Glaze. This is my 7th box and I think it's such a fun way to try new products and brands every month at low price. ($15-18/box) A lot of Green Beauty boxes are quite pricey and that comes mostly from the fact that a lot of them feature a number of full size products, however I personally prefer a mix of full size products as well as deluxe samples. In this way, I try a bigger variety of products and find what I truly love and want a full size of. Also, I love that with Petit Vour you get a mix of makeup, skincare, hair care and body care!
