Post Holiday Skin Detox
Post-holiday skin detox! ⚠️
Anyone else feels like their skin is in need of a little TLC after the holidays? I know I do 🙋🏻♀️
I came up with this simple detoxifying regiment that left my skin feel rejuvenated and plump! And it’s done in 3 easy steps!
1. First of, gently massage your face with a calming face cleanser and remove it with a dampen face cloth or a face brush. This will cleanse, calm and gently exfoliate your skin and prepare it for the next step. Today I used Pai Skincare Camellia & Rose Hydrating Cleanser as well as their Sensitive Skin face cloth.
2. Apply a detoxifying face mask. A perfect fit would be a mask that contains clay and is mineral or vitamin-rich. This will purify, strengthen and refine your skin. With all clay masks, I like to add different boosters to accommodate my skin concerns at the time. Similarly, today I used MV Skincare Signature Mask and added Odacite Po+R concentrate to supercharge my facemask with hydrating elements.
3. Wash off your mask (avoid leaving it till to completely dry on your skin) and follow up with your favorite face moisturizer/face oil. (you can also add essence and a serum if you prefer) I love using cold pressed Jojoba Oil afterward as it nourishes and balances the skin while feeling fairly light.
